This has been on my ‘to-do list’ for a long long time. Finally I am making time to add each and every one of our woolly residents to the ‘Meet the Flock’ page. Here you can read a little bit about each resident of our flock and look at countless photos of them too! These sheep are the dedicated wool growers behind our woolly rugs, cushions, gifts and more. It is no small task creating a portfolio for all 70+ of them (yes we had a major population boom in 2019 – thanks to raging Sven). There is usually a new sheep or 2 added daily if I manage to not fall asleep whilst I’m getting the kids to bed. I have always tried to include a bio on each of our sheep on the website but since we moved to a new more modern site and I had 2 kids and the sheep number increased dramatically I just haven’t made the time to place them all on here. But its more than time I did. There are many driving forces behind this. One reason is so I have a database with photos and the info of the whole flock. Another is so that anyone who buys a particular sheep’s rug or model etc can actually go and look up the special creature that provided the wool and read a little about them and their story. And quite simply I just love looking at the sheep and writing about them! 🙂
